Bob Moyer Program Curator

Robert Moyer is the Director of the High School Drama Program  and the Director of Summer Session  at the North Carolina School of the Arts. Moyer holds a B.A. in English literature from Kenyon College and M.F.A. in directing from Tulane University.  Moyer studied extensively with Viola Spolin, author of “Improvisation for the Theatre,” and created and directed original productions with her and with Charles Strouse (“Bye, Bye, Birdie,” “Annie”). His is also the director of the nationally recognized story theatre company The United Stage. Moyer is the Shakespeare Lives! program director.
